LAW REN hails from a star that is in the midst of a war between her home of THE EMPIRE and THE KINGDOM that opposes its rule. After THE EMPIRE made a glorious breakthrough in multidimensional communications through their superior technology, THE CHANCELLOR that governs it decided to take a creative approach in reaching out to other worlds and learning their ways through... interdimensional livestreaming. And who else would he entrust the job to other than his right-hand woman? Sounds good... except for the fact that she has no experience in being anything other than a soldier, and has the social skills of a brick wall. Oh, well! Details, details.

LAW will mention other people in her streams as she regales tales of her day-to-day life in serving THE EMPIRE. They're only referred to by their titles, as their names & faces are strictly【CLASSIFIED.】
【THE CHANCELLOR】
LAW's enigmatic employer, and the central figure of her everyday life. He is the only person on this list that makes actual appearances on her streams, as he was the one who put her up to the task of doing them in the first place. Presents himself with theatrical grace and charisma, making him the total opposite of his ward.
【THE MARSHAL】
A swordsman who serves THE KINGDOM that opposes THE EMPIRE. Despite being on opposite sides of the war, he is the subject of eternal admiration for LAW and she hails him as the greatest warrior to ever live. Do not ask her about the recruitment posters from THE KINGDOM that she smuggled into THE EMPIRE because they depicted THE MARSHAL's handsome mug on them. She does not have a shrine for THE MARSHAL hidden in her quarters, and she especially does not dream of getting those posters signed by the object of her (one-sided) affections.
【THE GENERAL BRIGADIER】
A smug, arrogant youth fresh out of the academy who quickly rose through the ranks of the military... somehow. (Nepotism?) Became public enemy number one to LAW when he began making unfounded claims of being a greater combatant than THE MARSHAL, boasting about ambitions to be the one to strike down the legendary swordsman. Thus, LAW's eternal hatred for THE GENERAL BRIGADIER had begun.
【THE HIGH COMMANDER】
A snooty man who finds LAW to be "most repulsive" and nothing more than "THE CHANCELLOR's lap dog." While he does everything in his power to get a rise out of LAW and see some emotions from her trademark stoic features for once, his attempts land flat, for she simply does not care about THE HIGH COMMANDER whatsoever.
Q: "WHY IS SHE NAMED LAW?"
It is not her birth name. THE CHANCELLOR had her forsake her past life and surname entirely as an act of devotion in her service to him, corrupting her given name of LAUREN into the new identity of LAW REN. (With “LAW” having an additional hidden meaning for her acting as an extension of him in enforcing his ‘law’ onto their world.)
Q: "WHY DOES LAW WEAR BANDAGES? WHAT IS SHE COVERING UP?"
A parasitic plague ravages her star, its scourge corrupting men into daemonic beasts with no cure. When LAW found herself infected by what should have been a death sentence, that was when she met THE CHANCELLOR, who demonstrated a mysterious affinity for that very plague. He offered to save her by halting the progression of the infection in her body... in exchange for the small price of a lifetime of her servitude, of course. It is impossible to undo the physical corruption on her body, however. That is why she utilizes bandages to hide the more monstrous features from view (such as her daemonic eye) with bandages, which also act as protection against the sunlight that burns the infected areas of her body.
Q: "WHAT IS THE WING ACCESSORY THAT LAW WEARS?"
As LAW acts as THE CHANCELLOR's right-hand woman, this is symbolized by her wearing a wing accessory on her right arm that matches the one he wears on his left, which earned her the moniker of "THE RIGHT WING of THE CHANCELLOR.”
Q: "WHAT IS LAW'S TATTOO?"
It is a tattoo depicting a species of large feline from her world launching itself at a sun to devour it, which acts as symbolism for her role in aiding THE CHANCELLOR's ambitions to plunge the star into eternal darkness.
Q: "WHY DOES LAW HAVE A CLAW?"
Her right hand that she keeps obscured underneath the wing accessory has turned into claws from her (albeit halted) progression into a monster from her infection. She can manifest “extended” claws using daemonic energy, and they act as her main weapon.
【SHAMBLES】
SHAMBLES is the name of LAW’s large, snow leopard-like feline companion that is native to her world. He can sometimes be heard in the background of her streams… meowing and playing with toys. Such a ferocious beast, indeed.As she utilizes him as a war mount, LAW wears specially tailored clothes to prevent her from getting shocked by the electricity SHAMBLES generates for powerful attacks.Though SHAMBLES is fearsome and vicious on the battlefield, THE CHANCELLOR can be quoted as saying that his right-hand woman’s ferocious pet is really just a “giant dumb cat”, in which LAW would nod and deadpan her superior’s assessment in being accurate (unfortunately).Somehow, SHAMBLES developed a penchant for eating pancakes, which are notably not part of any healthy feline’s diet. Hmmm… Whoever could be responsible for that… ?
